Blog Entry1st time to organize a photo opzNov 21, '09 7:10 PM
for everyone
with less then 2months in planning for the first photo shoot that i have organized for the photography club i have created. finally it was done last saturday. However there were set backs... I haven't anticipated the traffic to be that great since it was a saturday plus there was a lot of people being buried that day and to add alchohol to injury, the officer in charge in manila north cem told me we are only allowed until 6pm inside the cemetery for the shoot even though the permit i carried stated we are allowed until 8pm. T.T and oh, it was raining.

On the way to north cem i was getting agitated and irrated because of the traffic. Every thing was being rushed when we got there. Good thing the rain went away when we started the shoot. i was getting nervous coz what if the photographers didn't like the models or it looked like i was not prepared for the event. >.< I realized its hard to participate in the photo shoot as a photographer if you are the one organizing it coz you have to check with the models from time to time and with the make up artist as well. Then i rushed the make up artist in her job which i think made me look like a demanding director. >.< good thing my bestfriend was there to help me which i felt guilty coz she became the assistant on the shoot.

But over all, so far the photographers/members who participated said that they enjoyed the shoot. The models where ok and great shots were taken.

After the shoot we had dinner at Pizza Hut, Mall of Asia. And looks like they are anticipating for the next photo shoot. Really i need to find way in generating funds for the Guild so that it won't be too expensive for me to organize one again.

Pictures from the photographers who participated can be viewed @ www.litratozguild.com

And speaking of fund raising activity for the guild.... Watch out for this in January 2010
